Spa Clinic of the Pieniny

Our activity started in 1949 in the heart of the health resort Szczawnica. Over the course of years, we have been improving our therapeutic methods achieving successes in rehabilitation, and we managed to achieve improvements in the health of thousands of our patients.

Rehabilitation is one of the ways to improve one’s sense of well-being, regain bygone agility after past injuries, accidents or ilnesses. „Solar” - Rehabilitative and Pain Curing Spa Clinic of the Pieniny provide you with fast recovery and physical condition. We are convinced that our technical abilities and competencies allow us to face complex afflictions. We ensure high standard of our services, and we still develop, as we desire to meet modernity and innovativeness. We employ up-to-date equipment as well as therapeutic methods known and used for the decades.

We offer the attention of highly qualified medical staff, friendly atmosphere and personal touch to every single patient, which give superior effects of the therapy in a short time period. All of the methods used during the tratment are consulted with a doctor and master’s degree physiotherapist. It allows patient to be aware of the decions which are made about the therapy.

Aditionally, every patient while leaving our clinic, receives further instructions and a set of exercises to do on one’s own.

Gastronomy

The „Green” Restaurant. We want to invite you for culinary voyages. In our restaurant we offer international haute cuisine as well as meals inspired by local and Polish cuisine traditions. We especially recommend dishes of the region, among which, the primacy belongs to those of lamb, as they are speciality of the chef. The ,,Green” Restaurant can seat 120 guests.
The great choice of meals from the breakfast buffet and dinners will meet the expectations of every single guest.

Breakfast: in form of a buffet 8:00 – 10:00
Dinner: choice of served meals 15:00 – 18:00

We encourage to familiarize with the great choice of the à la carte meals with special section for children.

Attractions

Szczawnica is a mountain health resort situated in a quiet valley of the Grajcarek Stream, right bank creek of the Dunajec River. The town is surrounded by Pieniny National Park, Slovak National Park and Popradzki Landscape Park. The name of the town derives from present in this area groundwaters, called by the local higlanders – szczawas (highly carbonated natural mineral water). Szczawnica became famous due to the Dunajec River Gorge rafting which remains the main summer attraction of the Pieniny. On account of unique microclimate and omnipresence of mineral groundwaters, Szczawnica has over two-hundred-year Spa healing tradition.

As a tourist resort, Szczawnica is great excursion base to the Beskid Sądecki, Gorce and Pieniny (mountain ranges). In the winter, through the presence of the numerous ski lifts, Szczawnica becomes a kingdom of winter sports.
